Currents: A Ricepaper Anthology
Thank you to everyone who was part of the launch of Currents: A Ricepaper Anthology! As one of the editors of the collection, I am very proud to be part of the revival of the pioneering Asian Canadian magazine that first almost 25 years ago in Vancouver. Featured below are some photos from the launch during the reception at International Village in Vancouver's Chinatown.

Karla Comanda, Ricepaper's fiction editor, is a Vancouver-based poet, translator, and creative writing MFA candidate at UBC, and the winner of the Jim Wong-Chu Emerging Writers Award 2017.
Leila Lee holds an honours BA and MA in Canadian history and was the previous nonfiction editor at Ricepaper.
